What’s for Dinner, Fish Tacos

Ingredients For Fish Seasoning:

  • 1 lb boneless skinless talapia fillets: $10.00 for a 3.5 lb bag at Walmart
  • 1 Tsp garlic powder: $1.00
  • 1 Tsp paprika: $1.00
  • 1/2 Tsp cayenne: $1.00
  • 1/2 Tsp ground cumin: $1.00
  • 1/2 Tsp dried oregano: $1.00

Directions:

Slice fillets in half lengthwise and sprinkle with sea salt, to taste. Then cover on both sides with fish seasonings. Heat 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Then cook the fish pieces about 2 min per side until light and flaky inside.

Ingredients for Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup real mayo: $3.00
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt: $3.00
  • 1/2 Tsp dried oregano: $1.00
  • 1/4 Tsp dried dill: $1.00
  • 1 chipotle chile (canned chipotle chilies in adobo sauce): $1.00

Directions:

Blend all ingredients until smooth, drizzle over tacos.

Serve with warm tortillas, fresh avocado, sliced cabbage, cilantro and lime wedges. Of course you gotta pair it with a cold corona and a lime.
