Weekly Reading, Marcus Aurelius

If you’re not progressing, you are regressing right?  With that in mind I’ve been making a big push to read more lately. Maybe this way I can sound half way intelligent when I wright and talk to people.

The other night, my friends and I were driving around looking at Christmas lights, and I was rambling on about nonsense, trying to wax poetic about our current life situations. That’s when my friend turned to me and said that I seem to have a lot of Stoic ideas about life and philosophy.

That may or may not be true but he did lend me his copy of “Meditations” by Marcus Aurelius. So far the book is basically the Roman Emperor’s diary, written throughout the different stages in his life. Like an introspective blog post just for himself.

I look forward to getting further into the book and learning more about Stoicism.

If you’re interested in this, I’m sure you can find a free PDF somewhere or you can get it from Amazon HERE.

So what are you reading this week? Let me know if the comments below.

This copy has been read a few times for sure
